Hello! As requested by you, i’ve decided to blog today. I just realised that i’ve been to lazy to blog for two weeks already. I’ll make it up to you today.

Significant trips:

20.09.2009 (Sunday) : Music Box

Went to the kbox of China from 3pm – 8pm and it only cost us SGD $25!! To add on, a touch screen is used to choose songs. It was relatively clean too. I am starting to like China a bit more. ;D

22.09.2009 (Tuesday) : Hong Kong Trip (Hong Kong Tourism Board & Ocean Park)

Woke up v.v.v. early on that day as we had to take the first ferry to Hong Kong. Which is around 9. Went to the Tourism Board of HK and needless to say, it was quite boring. Went for lunch around the area after that.

If we dont eat fast, the store owner would start staring at us. So we had to eat fast in a small shop while sharing table with others – the hong kong way.

Went to starbucks to waste time before the coach comes to pick us up. Green Tea Frappe is my most current favourite drink from starbucks. Went to Ocean Park after that. Had an educational tour around the area, saw many cute animals and then we went to play! Only took a few rides. Overall, i feel that the theme park is overrated.

23.09.2009 (Wednesday) – Si Ying’s Birthday

Went for dinner at Qi Ao Dao (seafood). The food there is nicer than Die Shi.

Thats about it. The food wasn’t fantastic. Only the Toufu is v. nice. Other than that, cheap as usual. : ) Treated Si Ying for her birthday.

24.09.2009 (Thurday) : Shangri La (Guang Zhou)

Shangri La was the usual “Shangri La” nothing interesting about it. Went to Pizza Hut in a nearby mall for lunch after that.

Hotel visit, lessons, Shopping!

I’ve lost count of the number of days i’ve been here. Getting more and more lazy to blog lately. Alright here goes.

Thursday: Visit to Macau.
Visited two hotels in Macau. Venetian and Wynn. Venetian is one of the places where boys over flowers is filmed. Overall experience with the Wynn staff was better as they were OBVIOUSLY more hospitable. But wells, we shouldn’t judge just by that.

Those were two of the three bedrooms that we’ve been to in Venetian. I didn post pictures of the second room cuz it is around the same as the first. The only difference lies with the bed type. Apparently there are many other room types that are bigger than the ones that we went to. BUT, the annoying host said that the second smallest room was already “too much for us to chew”. Hate that guy. Had some boring talk from him and went on to look at the ballroom, expo, casino and staff area.

Went for lunch at Venetian and departed for Wynn after that. Photos are not allowed at Wynn. Thus, you guys wont be able to see how amazing the rooms in Wynn are! We even went to the Presidential Suite

He is a very nice guy and was very relieved when he realised that we all understands mandarin. This picture was taken while we were waiting for this show that takes place every half an hour in Wynn. And trust me. IT WAS FREAKING IMPRESSIVE.

the chandelier actually came our from the celling. it’s hard to describe but my advice is, if you ever go to Macau, go to Wynn and see it!

Friday: Lessons & Results
Woke up at 8.45am to see my results and I was quite relieved and at the same time, satisfied with my results!
Had lessons from 1pm – 4pm and went to the Korean Restaurant again after that.

Saturday: Gong Bei (shopping)
Went shopping yesterday at gong bei again. Didn’t manage to buy much clothes yet. Bought a pair of heels, jeans and a tank top. The rest are not to be revealed. Haha. thats all for now. Gotta get ready for the ktv session at 3pm later on! Cya.

P.S: i hope you will remember what you told me last night and do what you say for once. Once again, good luck for the both of us.

Day 10 (quiz and lesson)

Had a 15% quiz this morning. Went to Shangri-La Zhong Sun after that. Will be seeing many Shangri-La hotels cuz the hostel that i’m staying in is called….. Shangri-La Academy! Which is owned by Shangri-La. Had a hosted lunch there.

Day 8 & 9

Yesterday was a boring day. Went for lecture in the morning and had a rooms management lecture of 4 freaking hours. Wanted to go to the only Korean Restaurant in ZhuHai after that but the was a severe tropical storm or so they call it. And we werent allowed to go out. The storm wasn’t very strong. It just feels as if it was a very windy day in Singapore.

Woke up at 12 today, studied for a quiz and went out for our korean bbq dinner! Upload pictures next time! ;D V. lazy to blog already. Bye. Partly it was because SOMEBODY, haven ans ALL my questions yet.

Day 6 & 7 (FREE DAY)

There’re no lessons on saturday and sunday! Went Shopping at Gong Bei yesterday. Gong Bei is the best place to shop in zhu hai so far. The port plaza is freaking big! Many fake good and stuff. How i wish you were here. Missed the times when we went shopping together. haha. although that was not long ago. Now in zhu hai i’ll have to carry my own stuffs Haven really bought much things yet. Will go back again to buy more after we go to Hong Kong so that we can compare price and quality. Are u still a crybaby? How are you doing? I’m like the only one updating you about my life but i have no idea what u’re up to now. Update me ok! Each and every significant and insignificant thing that you did. Are you managing your life better now? Take this six weeks as an opportunity to reflect on yourself ok. Those habits that you should keep and those that you should kick. Consider my words seriously k? Hope that your Jian Fei plan is going well too. Without me around to tempt you.

So basically, i went to shop at gong bei on saturday and was damn tired when i came back after all the bargaining and walking. Thats why i didn blog yesterday. Woke up at 12pm today! One of the latest so far. Went to eat some chicken noodle at the canteen for 3 dollars, bought some bread, photocopied notes, washed the laundry and sweeped the floor. That sums up my Sunday! Hope you’re doing fine and not cheating on me : ) Oh yah! rmb to update me on your popo’s situation

Day 5 (Lesson)

Woke up at 8am today for HBM lesson. It was relatively interesting. [and much better than LAM]. Went back to the hostel at 11am for lunch (pao mian). Cuz we were too lazy to go to the canteen to have lunch. Had a 40mins nap. Went for Food and Beverage Operations Management lessons after that. It was exactly the same as FABM. Luckily the trainer is more interesting and funny than the previous one. Then came the interesting part!

DAY 4 (Industry Visitation)

There were some changes in the schedule for today. We had lunch before we went to visit the fisher girl due to the rain. Things that we ordered for lunch.

The lunch costs a total of RMB 325. Which means we only paid RMB 37 each! [that equates to SGD $7.70] After that we went to the “merlion of zhu hai” – the fisher girl.

 Went to Sun Yat-Sen Residence after that. Nothing much in there other than the history and replica of the household of Sun Yat-Sen. Sun Yat-Sen was a political leader of China. Set of to an Indian Restaurant for dinner after that. Most of the food were spicy. Lazy to upload. ;D Thats all for today. Didn’t go to watch the performances at night as it was cancelled due to the rain. Went to shop at Gong Bei instead.

Lewis Zhuang, i am angry with you. Here i am blogging for YOUR SAKE. Spending almost an hour. AND THERE YOU ARE PLAYING MAJONG. You sounded so impatient when i called you. And therefore, i am officially pissed with you. miss me my foot. I wont call you and blog anymore unless you write an essay of 500 words with the title of “Apology to Carina” and send it to my email. SEE YOU TILL THEN. I AM SERIOUS. oh yah. NO SKYPE AND MSN TOO.

Day 3 (Start of Lessons)

Had two different lessons today. Hospitality Business Management (examinable) and Culinary Arts Management. (enrichment) Hospitality Business Management was relatively easy to understand (for the first two hours). When we kicked into the third hour, i couldn’t concentrate anymore. Bad influence for u LZ!

Went for lesson from 8-11 and had lunch in the school canteen for the first time after that. Food here is SUPER DUPER Cheap!

It only cost RMB 3.00 which is less than 1 SGD! I’m sure u’ll be damn happy if u come here L. But the xiao long bao in the canteen (there are a total of three) is not very good. It seemed like i was eating bread with very very very little filling. After lunch, went back to the hostel to teach lilin bridge and do accountings. So far, i spent around SGD $101.40.

Went for the Culinary Arts Management lesson after that.

Had a lecture on the different chefs in the kitchen and we moved on to club sandwich making!! L i know u’re proud of me right! When i go back i shall make you Shangri-La style club sandwiches. Your gf is finally independent ok. She even knows how to make nice food.

Day 2 (Orientation + Shopping Day)

Breakfast was lousy! The powder in the chu qian yi ding was clumpy. Luckily i brought diarrhoea pills. Surprisingly, the portion was quite big for some reason.

I’m studying in a block of classroom that is 1.5km long! Amazing isn it Had our orientation and left the campus at around 12 to Gongbei for shopping and lunch.

 Due to the lack of time, we only ate sushis for dinner Good news is i bought prepaid card and the rate to call Singapore is only about 60 cents per min. Which means i’ll be able to call you guys more often : ) Mopped the floor just now and the router is going crazy again. -.- Thats it for now! GOODNIGHT~

Cathay’s movies are quite updated. They actually have movies like The Proposal, 17 Again, Hangover etc. Watched wolverine and it was so-so.  The ride was quite smooth after i took the motion sickness medcine and the ferry ride was ok too : )

Only managed to reach the hostel at around 8+pm. Went to the supermarket to buy some daily necessities, tried to connect to the internet, bathed and packed my stuff. And so it’s already 12.08 now!
